About Me
Graduate of International Relations, I quickly discovered that the most precious part of Surrey isn’t our campus, it’s our super tight knit community. I desire to lead with the vision where everyone feels like Surrey is their ‘home away from home’.
Throughout my time at Surrey, I’ve had the privilege of leading the Surrey Filipino Society across two terms as President. During my first term, we were honoured to be named Society of the Year and in my second we grew to over 560 members, becoming the largest society at Surrey and the largest Filipino Society in the UK. These experiences taught me the importance of creating spaces where everyone feels valued; for every student has a different story and every voice deserves to be heard as leadership starts with listening.
Beyond Surrey, I’ve been fortunate to be a youth ambassador as Miss Philippine Youth 2025 officially recognised at the Philippines Senate, while also receiving the Surrey Student Sustainability Hero Award 2026. These opportunities strengthened my passion to empower student to thrive during their university chapter, growing leaders together.
My mission this year is simple: I want to be a catalyst for positive change creating unforgettable experiences with a safer surrey. Redefining the student journey enhancing destination success and making sure your opinions are at the heart of every decision in reshaping Surrey through my long term campaigns.
Above all, I want you to know I am a President who is approachable and excited to meet as many of you; for i know the future of Surrey isn’t shaped by one president it’s shaped by every student who chooses to get involved and support one another. For every student has the potential to make a difference and I hope to help create the opportunities that allow you to discover just how much you’re capable of.

Enhancing Destination Success
Following my presidential manifesto I managed to double the amount of train the trainer sign ups for our destination success and improve the website as a whole making it more informative of what the program is all about as well as making it more relatable including biography's of our current trainers.

My overall vision for my presidency is to make Surrey feel like a home away from home for every student. University should be more than the place you can just earn your degree; I believe it should be where you not only find your people but also grow to build confidence ultimately becoming a better version of yourself as of when you came as a new student at Surrey. Not only that but create lifelong memories and feel where you truly belong. I want to strengthen our sense of community across Surrey by creating more opportunities for students to connect but even celebrate who they are and shape their own student experience!

Grow Destination Success into a stronger pathway from involvement to employment through student ambassadors as well as society partnerships. Introduce more flexible weekend workshops and employer led opportunities while expanding beyond soft skills into live projects, helping students turn their Surrey experiences into practical skills and confidence for graduate success going into the world of work and CV's
- Expand and Improve Campus

Speak up to champion the transformation of Stag Hill House into a permanent student hub or a space within campus to be student first venue as part of the estate master plan. Pushing to replace the marquee with a flexible event and society spaces alongside commercial spaces for food and student focused services, creating a destination ALL students can use all year round from commuters to mature students etc.
- Further Accommodation Development

Increase accommodation quality and availability by pushing for better living conditions and faster maintenance while advocating for more student accommodation to match Surrey’s growing student population and increasing demand for rooms.
- #WeAreSurrey Initiative

Strengthen belonging and visibility by launching #WeAreSurrey, celebrating the students that make up the university and showcasing representative experiences that make up our community, alongside expanding support for cultural celebrations, heritage months and identity weeks in partnership with societies.
- More Affordable Surrey
In Progress
Work with the University and campus partners to make everyday student life more affordable by advocating for better value food options as well as stronger student discounts on campus. To also start a surplus food initiatives especially for students struggling with the cost of living, helping students access good food for free.
